I took a slightly different route for my morning walk (I also got a late start and it was already hhhhhhhhot outside). I’ve been wanting to photograph this church building for awhile now and this morning was a good scouting trip, even if the conditions were not ideal for getting the shot I wanted1.
There is a small cemetery adjacent to the church, and an even smaller one just a couple of lots down (I’m guessing that one is a family graveyard). And if you know me, you know I love me a cemetery.
One of these mornings, when we have a few poofy clouds in the sky, I’ll wander back by there with the bigger camera (or maybe one of my film rigs) to get a few quality frames.
1What can I say? A clear blue sky is the bane of a photographer’s life. It gives flat light and a few clouds offer more visual interest.
