It isn’t often that I post a photo taken with my iPhone here: In fact, this may be the first one. I’ve taken much nicer photos on the iPhone, but this one marks the occasion of loading my final roll of Kodachrome in Arthur Cox (my beloved Nikon F2). I’m going to miss this extraordinary film. Old film photography nerds can pretty easily pick them out of a lineup. A few weeks ago, I was flipping through a magazine on the ferry and stopped on a page, pointed to the photo and said to my friend, “that’s gotta be a Kodachrome!” We read the caption and, sure enough, it was.

“Makes you think all the world is a sunny day, oh yeah…”
