Simon Sunday: The One Where I Realize That The Cat Furniture Now Outnumbers the People Furniture

I went over to IKEA yesterday to pick up a small set of shelves for my bedroom. On my way to the pick-up aisles and check-out registers, I came across these adorable kitty tents in the pet section and just could NOT pass this up! (It even has a big tail attached to the back! How cute is that?)
I had no more than pulled the tent from the package and set it up on the floor before Simon climbed right in and made himself at home. I tried to get Billie to check it out later on, but I think she is afraid that if she goes in it she'll end up at the V-E-T. Or, worse, that Simon will corner her in there.
But for Simon, last night the tent took his evening Cat Crazies to a whole new level! He would crawl inside and hunch down, then with a loud "MWOW!" he'd fly out of the tent and run around the apartment like the nutbar he is! One time he didn't get a clean take-off and got his big butt caught on the tent opening, carrying it half way across the living room and then freaking out because OH NOES!!1! THE BIG RED KITTY WAS CHASING HIM!!@1!!
In other Simon Shenanigans News, I just caught a glance at Buster, the old graphite iMac that I use to store and process my photos. I see that Simon has taken it upon himself to rename one of my folders to "yttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttnnnnnnnn" (you know, I'm afraid I might have missed a few t's in that name). I think I'll have Simon come up with some new passwords for me, too. He has a certain knack for it.
