OK, now I think I can say it out loud
I get to share some happy news! I have a photo that will be a part of a month-long exhibit at the RPS Collective Gallery in Oakland. The show is called "Don't Fail Me Now" and is a view of the things that carry us through our daily lives. It should be no surprise that my image is very closely tied to the beauty that we have available to us every day here in the Bay Area.
I've had the privilege of seeing a couple of the photos that will join mine in the exhibit and can say that there will be some fabulous photographs in the show! The show will open in concurrence with the First Friday Oakland Art Murmur this Friday, 4 August from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. The RPS Collective is located at 2278 Telegraph Avenue (just off of Grand). If you're local, I hope you can make it out to the show opening Friday evening (pssst! There will be a closing reception on Friday, 26 August from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., if you miss the opening party!). For those of you who aren't local (and aren't familiar with my Flickr photostream), I'll give you a sneak preview, if you ask me real nice!
