Simon has, for the most part, left the daisies alone in the nearly 2 weeks they've been brightening our home. Except for this photo shoot, and then this morning, when I woke up and stumbled into the living room to find a partially-eaten daisy head on the floor. Since Billie won't eat anything that isn't dry kibble, I knew it had to be Simon. Since he didn't seem worse for wear yet, I fed him and Billie, then Googled something along the lines of "are gerbera daisies poisonous to cats".
They are not. Further proof that that little furbrat leads a charmed life.

Guess what. I just googled, "Are Gerber daisies poisonous to cats?". And, Simon's taste for same came to my screen. Simon was a big help, as I can now send those Gerberas to a friend for Mother's Day knowing that beloved "Kitt" (cat of the house, of course) will survive. Thank you, Simon. I did check other sites to get a consensus. I have three kitties of my own, so am always careful! Thank you, Simon and Victoria. Suzanne

Glad we could be of help! I hope your friend enjoyed the Gerberas (and that the kitty enjoyed them from a safe distance)!
