I learned that today (at 1:59) was "pi day". One of the actuarial consultants I work with had a particular gleam in his eye as he was telling me this while I made my oatmeal this morning. So next year, if you're wanting to charm your math major friends, wish them a Happy Pi Day!

Mark your calendar! It's one "holiday" where Hallmark WON'T innundate us with cards and reminders. The poor Math Geek community, they're woefully underrepresented.
