I finally managed to figure out how to back my data off of Buster the iMac through DiskWarrior. I started the backing off process of ONLY my user folder and the Library folder at around 5:30 or 6:00 last evening. It's 8:30 a.m. and it's still backing up. (For a girl born without the waiting gene, this is almost too much torture to bear!)

And now, being Monday and all, I have to leave the backup going and head to work--and hope that no errors crop up in the process. But, really, I'd love to have one more day to just finish the damn backup and, dare I hope, install Tiger.
