The latest assault? The US Justice Department is now trying to get hold of the hospital/doctor records of some abortions. In case you didn't get that, let me break it down for you: The government is actively invading the privacy of Americans by prying into their personal medical records!

Roe v. Wade isn't as much about giving women the "right" to an abortion as much as it is a protection of Americans' right to privacy and due process granted under the Fourteenth Amendment to the US Constitution. Abortion is a medical procedure and is a decision that is between a woman and her physician. No other person, and certainly no state or federal entity has any business getting involved in the medical decisions made between any person (woman or man) and their physician.

My great fear right now is that by the time the presidential election rolls around in November, there won't be anything left of the America our Founding Fathers built. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll even be allowed to vote, if we're not Republican. This regime is pulling apart the fabric of our nation, one thread at a time.
